The Alwaqfa app is built to help fishermen and seafarers in Kuwait with tide, wind, weather, Qibla direction, and prayer-time information. We respect your privacy, and this page clearly explains what we do and do not collect.
يستخدم التطبيق موقعك لغرضين فقط:
إحداثياتك الدقيقة تبقى على جهازك ولا تُرسل إلينا ولا نخزّنها. عند جلب بيانات المد والطقس، تُرسَل إحداثيات المنطقة الساحلية الثابتة (وليس موقعك الشخصي) إلى مزوّدي البيانات. تتبّع الموقع يعمل في المقدّمة فقط، ولا يعمل في الخلفية أبداً.
The app uses your location for two purposes only:
Your precise coordinates stay on your device; they are not sent to us and we do not store them. When fetching tide and weather data, the coordinates of a fixed coastal area (not your personal location) are sent to data providers. Location tracking runs only in the foreground and never in the background.
لتحسين استقرار التطبيق وإصلاح الأخطاء، نستخدم خدمة Firebase Crashlytics من Google. عند حدوث عطل، تُجمَع بيانات تقنية تلقائياً لمساعدتنا في معرفة السبب:

To improve the app's stability and fix bugs, we use Google's Firebase Crashlytics. When a crash occurs, technical data is collected automatically to help us find the cause:

To show tide, wind, and weather information, the app connects to trusted external services. Only the coordinates of a fixed coastal area are sent to them:
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it processes requests.
إعداداتك (اللغة، الوضع، الوحدات، المنطقة المختارة) تُحفظ محلياً على جهازك فقط لتذكّر تفضيلاتك. لا تُرسَل إلينا، وتُحذف عند إزالة التطبيق.
Your settings (language, theme, units, selected area) are saved locally on your device only to remember your preferences. They are not sent to us and are removed when you uninstall the app.
التطبيق موجّه للاستخدام العام ولا يجمع عمداً أي بيانات شخصية من الأطفال.
The app is intended for general use and does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
