The Alwaqfa app is built to help fishermen and seafarers in Kuwait with tide, wind, weather, Qibla direction, and prayer-time information. We respect your privacy, and this page clearly explains what we do and do not collect.
ما الجديد في هذه النسخة: أصبح بإمكانك إنشاء حساب اختياري لحفظ إحداثياتك وسجلّ غوصك في السحابة. التطبيق يعمل كاملاً بدون حساب، ومن لا ينشئ حساباً لا يغادر جهازَه شيء من بياناته.
What changed in this version: you can now create an optional account to back up your saved spots and dive log to the cloud. The app works fully without an account, and if you do not create one, none of your data leaves your device.
إنشاء الحساب ليس شرطاً لاستخدام التطبيق. كل ما يخصّ المد والرياح والطقس والقبلة يعمل بدونه. الحساب يخدم غرضاً واحداً: أن تستعيد إحداثياتك وسجلّ غوصك لو غيّرت جهازك أو أعدت تثبيت التطبيق.
عند إنشاء الحساب نجمع:
Creating an account is not required to use the app. Tides, wind, weather and Qibla all work without one. The account serves a single purpose: letting you restore your saved spots and dive log if you change phones or reinstall the app.

من يستطيع قراءتها؟ أنت وحدك. قواعد الوصول على الخادم تمنع أي حساب آخر من قراءة إحداثياتك أو سجلّك أو الكتابة فيهما، حتى لو عرف رابطها. ولا نقرأها نحن لأي غرض تسويقي ولا نبيعها ولا نشاركها.
Who can read it? Only you. Server-side access rules prevent any other account from reading or writing your spots and log, even if they knew the address. We do not read them for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them.
وإن لم تنشئ حساباً فلا يُرفَع أي من ذلك. تبقى الإحداثيات والسجلّ على جهازك وحده، كما كان الحال دائماً.
If you do not create an account, none of this is uploaded. Your spots and log stay on your device alone, exactly as before.
يستخدم التطبيق موقعك لثلاثة أغراض:
موقعك اللحظي لا يُرسَل إلينا ولا يُسجَّل. عند جلب بيانات المد والطقس، تُرسَل إحداثيات المنطقة الساحلية الثابتة التي اخترتها (الشويخ، الخيران…) إلى مزوّدي البيانات — لا موقعك الشخصي. تتبّع الموقع يعمل في المقدّمة فقط، ولا يعمل في الخلفية أبداً.
الاستثناء الوحيد هو الإحداثيات التي تحفظها أنت بنفسك: إن كنت مسجّل الدخول فهي تُرفَع إلى حسابك كنسخة احتياطية كما شُرح أعلاه. حفظُك للبقعة هو ما يرفعها، لا مجرّد فتح التطبيق.
The app uses your location for three purposes:
Your live position is never sent to us and never logged. When fetching tide and weather data, the coordinates of the fixed coastal area you selected (Shuwaikh, Al-Khiran…) are sent to the data providers — not your personal location. Location tracking runs only in the foreground, never in the background.
The one exception is a coordinate you deliberately save: if you are signed in, it is backed up to your account as described above. Saving a spot is what uploads it — simply opening the app does not.

تستطيع حذف حسابك من داخل التطبيق في أي وقت، بلا مراسلة ولا انتظار: الإعدادات ← الحساب ← حذف الحساب. يُطلب منك تأكيد كلمة السر، ثم يُحذف نهائياً:
الحذف فوري ولا رجعة فيه. أما ما هو محفوظ على جهازك فيُزال بحذف التطبيق. وتستطيع كذلك تغيير بريدك الإلكتروني من الشاشة نفسها.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, with no email and no waiting: Settings → Account → Delete account. You confirm your password, and the following is permanently erased:
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Anything held on your device is removed by uninstalling the app. You can also change your email address from the same screen.
بيانات حسابك تبقى ما دام الحساب قائماً، وتُحذف فور حذفك له. تقارير الأعطال والتحليلات تحتفظ بها Google للمدد المنصوص عليها في سياستها (شهران للأعطال، وحتى أربعة عشر شهراً لبيانات التحليلات المجمّعة). ولا نحتفظ نحن بأي نسخة إضافية خارج ما ذُكر.
Your account data is kept for as long as the account exists and is erased the moment you delete it. Crash reports and analytics are retained by Google for the periods set out in its own policy (about two months for crashes, and up to fourteen months for aggregated analytics). We keep no additional copy beyond what is described here.
لتحسين استقرار التطبيق ومعرفة أي الشاشات تُستخدم فعلاً، نستخدم Firebase Crashlytics وFirebase Analytics من Google. تُجمع بيانات تقنية:

To improve the app's stability and to know which screens are actually used, we use Google's Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. Technical data is collected:
This data is technical and includes neither your identity nor anything you wrote. It is processed under Firebase's Privacy Policy.
مزوّدو المد والرياح والطقس والأرصاد لا تصلهم إلا إحداثيات المنطقة الساحلية الثابتة، ولا يصلهم بريدك ولا اسمك ولا بقعُك.
The tide, wind, weather and meteorological providers receive only the coordinates of the fixed coastal area. They never receive your email, your username, or your saved spots.
إعداداتك ومنطقتك المختارة ولغتك ووحدات القياس، وإحداثياتك وسجلّ غوصك، كلها تُحفظ في ذاكرة التطبيق على جهازك. تبقى هناك حتى لو لم تنشئ حساباً، وتُمحى بحذف التطبيق.
Your settings, chosen area, language and units, along with your spots and dive log, are stored in the app's storage on your device. They remain there even without an account, and are erased when you uninstall the app.
لك أن تطّلع على بياناتك وأن تصحّحها وأن تحذفها. الاطّلاع والتصحيح والحذف كلها متاحة داخل التطبيق مباشرة (الإعدادات ← الحساب). وإن أردت نسخة من بياناتك أو كان لك طلب لا تغطّيه الشاشة، راسلنا وسنستجيب خلال ثلاثين يوماً.
You have the right to access, correct and erase your data. Access, correction and deletion are all available directly inside the app (Settings → Account). If you want a copy of your data, or have a request the screen does not cover, write to us and we will respond within thirty days.
التطبيق ليس موجّهاً للأطفال دون الثالثة عشرة، ولا نجمع عن قصد بيانات منهم. إن علمت أن طفلاً أنشأ حساباً، راسلنا ونحذفه فوراً.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you learn that a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it immediately.
قد نحدّث هذه الصفحة كلما تغيّر ما يجمعه التطبيق. تاريخ آخر تحديث مكتوب في أعلى الصفحة، وأي تغيير جوهري — كإضافة نوع جديد من البيانات — سيُعلَن داخل التطبيق قبل سريانه.
We may update this page whenever what the app collects changes. The last-updated date appears at the top, and any material change — such as adding a new kind of data — will be announced inside the app before it takes effect.
